Simple Steps for Conquering Debt and Building Wealth
Have you EVER been frustrated; spent time, effort, and different schemes trying to get out of debt without much success? If your answer is ‘Yes’, you are not alone.
The fact is, becoming free of debt is really not as difficult as you might think.
If you are ready to achieve (and celebrate) simple goals – one at a time, then this book is for you.
I became a Money Management Coach to many individuals and families stemming from the fact that many people are living in debt and don’t seem to know the way to ever become debt-free. I have, like many people, lived for many years in debt without hope of ever getting out of it until I started asking myself the question “Is there life after debt?” and I can tell you “Yes there is”.
Unfortunately, many people never experience it. The Bible says in Proverbs 22:7 “The rich rule over the poor; the borrower is servant to the lender”. Your deliverance from the yoke of the bondage of debt is what this book is about – in an interesting storytelling format.
Milestones of Financial Freedom is a simple, straightforward, no-nonsense book I wish I’d read many years ago. The steps are so simple that you will wonder how you have never seen them before.
To make the reading even easier, I have used a fictitious couple to show the money problems and the solution steps in as “real-life” situations as possible; you can surely see yourself in them which convinced me that this book is what you need as well.
Here’s what I mean…
- You’ll learn concrete reasons to be debt-free right now.
- Solid goals to aims that will keep you going.
- You’ll gain a solid understanding of how money works.
- Distinguish between Myths and Truths.
- You’ll discover simple ways to snowball your credit card and loan debts.
- Pay them ALL off one at a time in record time.
- See the difference that even minute payments make.
Once you’re debt-free, you’ll learn how to keep out of debt and aim for total financial freedom.
In a nutshell, I’m going to give you the instruction manual I didn’t have when I began MY journey to Financial Freedom, which should cut years off of your learning curve.
Every day, hundreds of people promise themselves to be financially free but they have no idea how to or where to begin. Don’t let that be you!
Beginning the journey to financial freedom might be overwhelming for most people especially when they are considering their current circumstances. “Milestones of Financial Freedom” reveals the simple but necessary steps you need to take if you want to be totally financially free. They may be the simple things you knew before now; but put in the right order, the result can be tremendous.

This book is compulsory reading for our times. With the very unsettled financial climate, rising personal and national debt, a way of achieving freedom from debt and future financial stability for you (and generations to come) is a God-sent. Its common sense and storytelling format will make it an easy read for everyone.

The book …, I believe, contains principles and bite-size ideas that will help every person that wants to be debt-free to begin the journey to freedom. The steps are both practical and relevant to your day-to-day living no matter your past or present circumstances. We might as well call them principles, or even laws – they will work for you if they are properly put to work.

Fantastic piece of work, easy to read, and very practical. If you want to go from ‘minus’ to ‘plus’ in your life then this book is for you. Prophet Isaiah told King Hezekiah “Put your house in order for you shall surely die”; the principles in this book will help you put order back into your finances and prevent financial ruin which can lead to premature death. This is a must on your bookshelf!!!”

Reading the manuscript reminded me of the absolute necessity for self-discipline as quite rightly depicted in the book. A gentleman who worked in a financial institution in London, and earned over £100,000 per annum committed suicide after accumulating debts he could not service.
The step-by-step guides on financial management and the tables provided for financial planning are invaluable and must be used meticulously to optimise the benefits of this book. You want to avoid the debt trap, then read this book over and over.

Niyi has redefined the conventional idea of wealth creation from that of “get-rich-quick” scheme which has been the bane of our modern society, and sadly Christians also, to one of knowledge, creativity, and hard work which he rightly tagged ‘milestones’ through which the cycle of indebtedness can be broken. Thus, you will also find in this book a bridge and in-depth step-by-step directions you need to go from survivals to a stress-free financial life when followed diligently.
It is my privilege and honour to recommend this book to anyone and everyone who desires a life of financial freedom at such a low financial cost.

The book is well written and entertaining and Niyi does a very good job of probing into individual financial obligations via a case study of a couple (Sally and Desmond Ellmas). He covers a variety of key areas in his book including debt trap, money myths, creating a spending plan/emergency fund, meeting credit cards, consumer debt, and mortgage repayment obligations. Towards the tail end he advises us how to teach our children about ‘money management and achieving financial freedom’ these I found quite useful indeed.
I am impressed by the thorough and detailed approach of the book, but more impressed that he makes it easy and exciting to read for all and sundry irrespective of individual background/exposition. It is excellently written with no technical jargon and attains user-friendliness.
I am delighted to recommend it to anyone who wants to have a better understanding of managing individual finances and investment.
Getting out of debt is one of the biggest challenges and nightmares that a family can face and if not addressed can lead to all sorts of unforeseen consequences. Milestones of financial Freedom' not only outlines the stages of debt recovery in manageable and achievable stages but basing the debt repair around issues faced by a family makes it very easy to relate to.
By breaking down the road to debt elimination into many small and achievable stages it means that progress can be measured and goals achieved all the way to the point where financial freedom is achieved. Many people think that debt is only an issue in the bad times but in fact, managing debt in the good times is equally important so that if bad times do come then the issue will have been averted rather than magnified. “Milestones to Financial Freedom” offers practical help and guidance that nobody should ignore.
